ABOUT LEF

OUR MISSION

The Law Enforcement Foundation, in working partnership with local business, extends the reach and support of law enforcement’s role in local communities through education and training programs that enhance the quality of life and protect the values of citizenship.

“Extending the reach” further defines LEF’s  mission in the community…the schools and the students…the neighborhoods, parents and families…and businesses.  It strengthens the fabric of our learning, working and living environment by reaching beyond the traditional duties of law enforcement.

Law Enforcement Foundation programs, supported by funding through partnerships with local businesses, continuously foster the values of good citizenship in our local communities.  This brochure contains a mere overview of the programs that impact the daily lives of each of us.

The Law Enforcement Foundation’s programs and services are made possible through a combination of corporate donations, individual donations, government grants and registration fees.  D.A.R.E. training is provided at no cost to the departments or schools thanks to donations from corporations, individuals, and foundations PELC and CLEE tuitions are substantially subsidized.

LEF and those we serve are grateful for the critical financial support we receive from local businesses.  The result is that citizens of every community in Ohio benefit right where they live, work and learn.
