Faculty and Course Credit

 

Faculty

PELC instructors come from academia, the corporate sector and private consulting organizations. Instructors are carefully selected, nationally recognized experts whose objective is to expand the horizons of PELC students. Some instructors have a law enforcement background while others who do not are intentionally selected to bring viewpoints to PELC outside the discipline of law enforcement. Each instructor's presentation is evaluated to assure quality instruction.

 

College Credit

PELC has arranged with Ohio University to provide undergraduate credit through the Independent Study Department. At the option of the student, OU will award up to nine (9) quarter credit hours to a student who successfully completes PELC. These courses are fully accredited with transcripts issued through Ohio University's Independent Study Department.
